Through the eyes of an unusual being driving on the streets of the city... the world looks so absurd. People walking by, talking, joking, laughing, staring; they resemble little funny characters from a simulation game. They seem to have no feelings or mind of their own though, they're being driven by a series of codes that rule them all in a specific kind of way, granting them only a limited extent of free will. Unfortunately these sequences seem to have a major flaw to them, given that they hurl these people to great idiocy. Through this very picture of the world it is them who are weird, almost in a spooky way. They seem to totally have lost awareness of the world they live in; they're machines living in a mechanic world. Going around the street it is quite easy to see havoc in every corner, damn people they love disorder; the earth lies in the hands of these “gifted” beings who rule the earth, the same ones who will bring its doom about eventually. Pathetic beings, waste of millennia of evolution for naught, waste of a highly developed brain capable of doing unimaginable wonders. Supposedly "supreme" creatures that use their gift of rationality to overpopulate this planet with idiotic beings who likewise use their rationality to pollute, discriminate, slack, abuse, deceive and even let their brains rot and shrink by lack of use. Just let them listen to the hypnotic sound of that retards’ music in the process while their brain cells die out. Led by the uneducated and already devolved minds of sons of the scum, lets walk the path to... not enlightenment of course, but the one to blissful ignorance. Great models we choose now a days, mediocre primate-like minded criminals; never mind the smart people full of potential who have a lot more to offer, never mind all those great minds who spend their lifetime developing their skills and never get recognition, lets listen to the awful voices and repetitive cheap sound of the untrained. Blindfolded we allow to be led through life when we were given a mind of our own with the capacity of critical thinking. I despise you all, human kind, you're nothing but a waste of oxygen, and resources, and space, and anything else that crosses your damned path. They all chant "All hail ignorance", and I say that stupidity knows no limits.

Wow... this is just... I am completely baffled by this. This is just unacceptable. It's all the same if she shouted "Get out of that seat you ______!"

It is just unacceptable, simple as that. What's more amazing is that, her being a black person, seems to forget the history of her people and all the struggle they had to come upon to be free and receive all the rights every human being deserve. It's so easy to forget where you came from and commit the very same atrocities that were committed against you to other people. Truly unbelievable.

I am going to recommend this game because it's one of the most addictive browser based mmorpg's I've ever played. You just give it a try and you'll find yourself not being able to stop playing. Another thing I want to comment about is the lack of cities in Asia. I wouldn't want to live over there because then I'd have to travel for long hours to reach other cities; so it needs more cities. On the other hand, Europe has a LOT of cities concentrated in the same area, which is not a bad thing at all for the residents of that area. I only started playing a bit less than a month ago, so I'm still a noob AND broke.. and yes, it is way hard to find money when you're just an insignificant musician with no skills at all in an insignificant band. But eventually you get to where you've been aiming for... or at least I hope so ^_^

Ten Reasons Gay Marriage is Un-American

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Silent Hill: Origins

The Silent Hill prequel has been released today 6. November, 2007 for the PSP platform. This is definitely a MUST get, it looks really promising. As an addition to this game, you can pick up random objects from around the place and use them as weapons, and you can also just punch the monsters. And, like it has said before, it is really important to wear headphones and turn the light off while playing to make the playing experience much better ;)

Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odour for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odour is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Pluto has been demoted!

Today, 24. August 2006, scientists from all around the world gathered in Prague and adopted a new definition of a planet, which finally demoted Pluto from its planetary status because its highly elliptical orbit overlaps with the orbit of Neptune. Now Pluto is part of a new group called "dwarf planets" together with Ceres and "Xena", and we are left with 8 traditional planets.

The new definition of what a planet is goes like this:

"a celestial body that is in orbit around the Sun, has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a nearly round shape, and has cleared the neighborhood around its orbit."

Well, I am glad to know they follow the same line of thought as I do. A planet must have the space around its orbit cleared; that means, no asteroid belt objects allowed, like I said in the previous entry. I read in an article an astronomer say that this definition is absurd, and I can't see why. "Dwarf planets" are just too different from the traditional planets, and even their orbits are like the ones of typical asteroids.

I think it was the right decision to make. Now we stay with our 8 traditional planets, and we also have another new group of planets, and we can let it grow at will; oh and sure it will.

Our Solar System could get huge...

It all starts with two discoveries:

1. Pluto is part of an asteroid belt called the Kuiper Belt.
2. Astronomers found a body in that belt that is bigger than Pluto.

Now then, if Pluto is considered a planet, then this other body, called 2003 UB313, and many more, should be considered planets too. What brought the scientist to the question: What is the definition of a planet?

The new proposal for a definition goes like this: A planet is any body that orbits a star, is neither a star nor a satellite of a planet, and has gravity strong enough to pull it into a rounded shape.

Of course, in my opinion, I wouldn't include there any body that is part of an asteroid belt. So the first option to solve this would be to demote Pluto from it's planetary status. But the sole idea of doing this brings a lot of resistance. And I understand that we are used to having Pluto as a planet, and it even was my favorite. But why so much commotion? It won't go away, the mere fact that we don't consider it a planet will not make it disappear.

So, just for the sake of tradition, most likely we will keep Pluto as a planet, and together with it soon we will have more than 50 more.

Then, for a start, the number of our planets would go from 9 to 12, if this definition is approved by the International Astronomical Union on Thursday. The 3 new planets are called:

1. Ceres, part of the Asteroids Belt between the inner planets and the outer planets, which was considered a planet during the 19th century but then demoted.
2. Charon, earlier known as a moon of Pluto, and now thought to be a twin planet.
3. 2003 UB313, which doesn't have an official name yet, and is nicknamed "Xena".

And our Solar System would go like this:

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Charon, 2003 UB313 (Xena)

My honest opinion? I don't want a Solar System with 100 mini "planets". Apparently these new bodies are icy, unlike the traditional rocky planets. Plus, take a look at the orbits of some of the asteroids in the Solar System and then take a look at the orbits of these bodies... So I'd say, demote Pluto for now.

Silent Hill 3 box (American version)

The box art for the new Silent Hill 3, the American version, to be released on August 6th, 2003. I think it's a plain picture, isn't it? I'm bummed... It was supposed to be something scary and astonishing... But look at it, just the plain face of Heather. Sheesh.

I'm going to search for more information on the game, since it has already been released in Europe... I'll think about it, I don't want any spoilers, at least not yet.
